Kyara, the youngest calf in Sea World, passes away
Unfortunately the 24th of July, Sea World announced the death of their last calf, Kyara.
Three month old Kyara had to be separated from her mother, Takara, as she started showing signs of pneumonia, which is a serious illness that is responsible for 1/4 of captive cetacean deaths. Kyara was moved to SeaWorld San Antonio's animal hospital, where she unfortunately passed, two days after the announcement of her illness, due to pneumonia.
May she rest in peace.
